People are living as if there are no consequences to there actions. Just because you see other people doing stuff is not good enough means to validate what you should be doing.
Don’t fall into the herd behavior, where you just move with the pack.
Check out what Jesus said about this type of behavior.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
If we want to have life and not death and destruction, we have to follow what Jesus said.
Of course our feelings a lot of times has strong influence on our actions but abiding in the Word is something we have to do if we feel like it or not and you have to study it to do that.
There’s too much temptation and sin traps set up in this life and even within our own sinful nature to where we can’t function properly without constant contact with our Creator, Provider, and Protector.
Now in the day and age we live, meanings have drifted away from it’s original perspective when it comes to who that Creator, Provider, and Protector is.
How do we access Him?
It’s not through meditating and saying, “Ommmmmmmm”. You get demons like that. (Hindu/Buddhist practice)
It’s not by staying glued to the tv and soaking up everything that pop culture celebrates either.
You can get demons that way too.
Listen, people who don’t have a Biblical perspective who are led by popular belief embracing secular humanistic philosophy, don’t realize that they are serving Satan who is the god of this world. You can’t rely on your own reasoning and what you feel and you haven’t included God in nothing that you do. It’s probably because you don’t want God in your business because you think He’ll mess up your plans and what you want. You don’t even realize that it’s something inside of you that makes you think and feel that way. Sometimes it’s just our sinful nature waring against the Spirit, and other times it very well may be demons in you.
The thing that people don’t understand is, when you choose to sin and rebel against God, you attract and invite fallen angels to come and dwell within your temple that God designed for His Spirit and His Angels to dwell with. When you obey God and deny access to the devil, your life’s course can go according to the way God intends for it to go.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
May the Lord (Jesus Christ) be with you,
