As a leader whatever you do duplicates amongst the people that follow you. There’s another saying that states, what the leader does in moderation, the followers do in excess. So we need to make sure what we do is worth being duplicated and also we need to make sure that who we follow is someone who adds value to us in the areas where we are not as keen in.
Our brain is such an amazing thing that I get fascinated with more and more each day. I've realized that from all of those years of practicing long hours on the saxophone challenging myself to be better, has wired my brain to be accustom to focusing long concentrated hours on what ever area I'm interested in. Now that i'm older and have way more perspective and other priorities than just music and saxophone, my drive hasn't changed but my pursuits are different now though. Don't be afraid of shifting as you learn more. We all govern ourselves according to what we know and are passionate about. My moto is Pro 3:5, 6, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to thine own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy path.
Your uniqueness is valid! Don't be insecure about how you're wired. God can use you mightily the way you think. But you have to know His Will first and His Word has to be at the foundation and/or forefront of whatever you do though so He can mold you the way He needs to.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
(You really should read the whole chapter. It's POWERFUL!
