We have to be responsible with our thought patterns. If the average human being thinks anywhere between 10,000 to 50,000 thoughts a day, boy can we get ourselves entangled in a world of confusion just to say the least. When we don't meditate on the Word of God and His precepts, the prince of the power of the air will attack our mind like a swarm of bees. The Word says God's thoughts and ways are not ours, so that let's me know that what I want may be far from what God wants naturally because my nature is sinful. But if I submit my will to His will and meditate on His ways, then I'd be more inclined to think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of a good report,
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
May the Lord be with you,
