Everyday we need to allow the Holy Spirit to do surgery on our heart because our heart is naturally wicked and our motives are off. When you're a kid, you see, hear, and experience stuff that can captivate you and potentially fix you on a certain path that you may believe is the "right" way. This is why being a Godly mother and father is so crucial because the parents have an opportunity to shape the heart and desires of their child through their love and leadership demonstrated inside the home. If the child doesn't get what they need from their parents inside the home, then they will look to the world for it. The world can only give you, the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes and pride. This isn't of the Father. (2 John 2:16) Entertainers, musicians, actors often struggle with this because of the deficits they dealt with growing up that drove them to want to be accepted by the world and they'll subject themselves to whatever it takes in order to "make it" Have you ever pondered why some of the most talented people struggle with insecurity? it's simply because of what happened to them in their childhood that misdirected their affections to superficial ideals. God is glorified and demonstrates His love through the family! Satan's aim is to bust up families and destroy God's creation through drawing people away from God through the evil desires of our heart! But if we allow God to change our heart and our desires, He can fix our issues and deficits. Stardom doesn't fix the problem! It only AMPLIFIES it and destroys the person and their followers in the process.
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
1 Jo 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 Jo 2:16
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 Jo 2:17
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
May the Lord be with you,
