It really hit me today how over the course of this week people have been signing up to JazzWebShed mailing list because of some adjustments I made pertaining to the front page.
WOW! It’s a trip how you can make some tweeks in what you’re already doing and get immediate results. It’s quite exciting to see these marketing tactics I’ve been learning actually work.
It’s all about capturing people’s attention once and getting them to join your list after that. Then, over time you can communicate the various angles or aspects of who you are and what you have to offer over time.
Sometimes it takes a while for people to actually get the whole picture of what you actually are offering them.. So if you could influence them and build repoire with them over time, they’ll most likely eventually get it and take the necessary action that you expect.

They say people need to see or hear something at least 7 times before they get it. I believe that’s true in many ways with how we’re so easily distracted by all types of different things these days.
I’ve discovered 6 factors that are necessary to get more people to come to an event or even to buy something from you.
Here they are:
1. Put the word out in at least two weeks in advance of event or release of product.
2. Capture the people’s info. on a list who are interested in what you’re doing.
3. Communicate with them leading up until the time of the actual event or release.
4. Publish text, audio, and/or video to illustrate your product or event.
5. Set up all your messages, text/audio/videos advertisements in advance before you make it public.
6. Automate everything to go out daily leading up to the event or release.
This formula will prove itself to be very powerful if you start implementing them next time you want to do something or release a product.
Think about what you need to promote and start working on doing some of this stuff and let me know how everything turns out.
