August Single Release

This track was composed for my son, Quamon Jr. during the time he was in the hospital. He was born 23 weeks premature. We stayed in the hospital with him for 8 months and saw him bloom like a flower. He was born weighing 1lbs, 4oz and came home with us in August of 2015 at 10lbs.

He is indeed a miracle child and this song captures the excitement and joy that my wife and I had in finally getting Quamon Jr. home with us. This is why I decided to call it, Home With Daddy.

Hope this song blesses you as we share in celebrating God's faithfulness in seeing my son through all the challenges he faced in the NICU.

The Christian Musician

Music can be very consuming, especially when you really want to play at a high level. There’s the listening time, personal practice time, group rehearsal time, performance time, recording, etc. It can definitely take up a whole lifetime of consumption, if you don’t catch yourself. This is why it’s important to have mentors and learn how to rightly balance reality with your creative musical explorations. This book provides insights from Quamon's personal journey on how he overcame challenges to reach the success he aimed for as a man, musician, and husband.

" I have had the pleasure of playing and recording with Quamon Fowler for several years. In my opinion, he is the most complete and expressive musician I have worked with in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He has the ability to identify the essence of a song and to improvise lines and countermelodies that make a group sound great. In many ways he understands the songs I write better than I do. Quamon has a lot of knowledge to offer and anyone who collaborates with him is better for it.
