NUGGET ON HAVING A PRAYER LIFE

NUGGET ON HAVING A PRAYER LIFE | Sometimes you won’t be able to explain how Good and Faithful God is to a person that doesn’t have a prayer life. God hears, remembers, and answers our prayers! I think we can get short sighted sometimes and can confuse our own will for God’s will. But, what he does, IF you have a prayer life, He’ll allow your will to die, so you’ll surrender to His. Then, He’ll give you the correct way that you can go and have His protection. Our own will is NOT protected. Of course, God permits things and allows things but that doesn’t mean what you’re doing and how you’re operating is in His Perfect Will! I’m not saying we have to be perfect! We struggle to overcome stuff daily but I’m saying the position of our heart, motives, and actions have to line up with His Word, then, the Holy Spirit as promised will lead and guide us into all truth, physically, mentally, and spiritually! We all may differ in the particular types of sins we might wrestle with but the object of the game is to LET GO of the sin and cling to God’s ways! If you don’t want to let go of the sin and you’re trying to have God too, you’re only deceiving yourself! The fastest way to get somewhere is in a straight line.

John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

John 16:13
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Rom 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Rom 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
