Don’t allow your feelings to be hurt by those who reject your attempt to help them. Everybody doesn’t want to grow. Many are comfortable with their living in denial. Of course, you and everybody else amongst their family and friends can see it but you know how it is, you can’t tell them nothing! You can’t save a person that’s drowning if their fighting you, they’ll take you under. So, just leave them alone and you make sure you continue to stay humble and open to correction in order to continue to grow. Everyone has to surrender first in their own heart to receive the help they really need. Everybody doesn’t have the same understanding, especially if the Bible isn’t their authority. A lot of folk got an anchor set in their hearts within their unresolved issues. Yes, that may irritate the mess out of you, but, if it ain’t irritating them more to do something about it, then let it go. Our own burdens are enough to carry. Let them go and move on. You can’t lighten your own load while trying to help those that don’t want to lighten theirs. Just continue to chip away at your own issues and maybe one day someone else will notice your joy, peace, and progress and that’ll touch them to do something different in their own lives.
If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
May the Lord be with you,
